The Freundschaftsmarathon (‘Friendship Marathon’) was a running event held every second year in the state of Bayern (Bavaria) in Germany.
Alternating in direction every other year, the point-to-point marathon route connected the towns of Weiden in der Oberpfalz and Amberg.
The last Freundschaftsmarathon took place in 2017. The route began in Weiden and ended on the main square of Amberg.
