The Night Run in Bratislava is Slovakia's biggest 10k race. You can expect the registrations to fill up quickly.

Last year, Jozef Urban (30 minutes 22 seconds) and Jana Úradníková (38 minutes 35 seconds) led a record number of 3,617 runners across the finish line at the Eurovea, a multi-purpose centre that is situated approximately one kilometre to the east of the city centre, on the left bank of the River Danube.

In addition, 154 relay teams (two runners: 5km + 5km) took part in the event.

We are not sure about this year's route. Last year, the race took the runners along the Danube, through the tunnel under the imposing Bratislava Castle (pictured), through the pedestrianized Old Town, across the brand-new Starý most (Old Bridge) to the southern part of the city, through the Sad Janka Kráľa park, and finally back across the Old Bridge to the Eurovea centre.

The time limit to complete the course is 90 minutes.
