Held on a beautiful long-distance cycleway through Zala County in western Hungary, the Szaggasd az aszfaltot! is a wonderful running event for runners of all ages and abilities. Two hundred and fifty runners took part in the event last year.

The flat out-and-back course runs through lovely countryside and pretty villages, and it offers the possibility to clock a fast 10km or half marathon time. Fun runners and families may prefer to take part in the 3km run. Children run 500m.

The start and the finish are in the village of Bagod, which is about 9km from the city of Zalaegerszeg. The route runs westwards towards the village of Zalalövő.
