Held on the streets of Rosenheim, a city of 60,000 people in Germany's state of Bavaria, the Rosenheimer City-Lauf draws around 500 runners.

The event offers a 10k race, a 5k run, and children's races, starting and finishing on Max-Josefs-Platz, Rosenheim's cobbled main square in the beautiful Old Town.

Participants in the 10k race run four laps of a 2.5km-long loop course.

Last year, the 10k had almost 300 finishers. The winners were Stefan Holzner (34:41) and Christine Fiedler (37:29). The time limit to complete the course is 80 minutes.
