5. Budáról Pestre Futófesztival 2010
Budapest (Hungary), Sunday 10 October 2010
The NATO Partnership Running Festival, organized by the Budapest Athletic Federation and open to all runners, offers two interesting road races, a 10K and a 4K run.
The 10k route runs from Buda, the western part of Hungary's capital, across the River Danube to Pest, the eastern part. Start is at "Bloodfield" (Vérmező), a park located below Castle Hill.
Participants run across the majestic Chain Bridge (Lánchíd), along Budapest's grandest boulevard (Andrássy út), across the monumental Heroes' Square (Hősök tere), and finally through the large City Park (Városliget).
The 4k run is one loop through the City Park.
In 2009, the fastest 10k runners were József Sági (31:32) and Annamária Halász (39:42).
