The Bratislava Marathon is Slovakia's largest running event. Held annually over two days in spring, it attracts more than 10,000 participants of all ages.

- 4.2km run and walk
... and the longer races on Sunday:
- 21.1km half marathon
- 21.1km relay for teams of four runners
- 42.2km marathon
- 42.2km relay for teams of four runners
All races begin and end at the Eurovea centre, a business and retail complex situated on the left bank of the Danube, approximately one and a half kilometres east of Bratislava's historic core.
Participants in the 42.2km marathon run two laps of the half marathon course, a mainly-flat and AIMS-certified loop through three boroughs on both sides of the Danube: Ružinov, Staré Mesto (Old Town) and Petržalka.
