The Night Run Štrbské Pleso (formerly known as ‘High Tatras Night Run’) is a multi-terrain running event held annually in the spring in Štrbské Pleso, Slovakia's highest resort, situated at 1,350 metres above sea level in the High Tatras mountain range.
Both races, the 5k and the 10k, take the runners on a mix of asphalt roads and gravel paths around Štrbské pleso, a glacial lake (pictured above).
The route also visits the smaller, man-made Nové Štrbské pleso (pictured below).
The course is undulating and very scenic.
