The Garda Trentino Half Marathon is a running event held annually in November in the Province of Trentino in northern Italy.
Entrants can choose between three point-to-point races, all finishing in the town of Riva del Garda which sits at the north-western tip of Lago di Garda, Italy's largest lake (pictured):
- 21k half marathon
- 10k
- 4k fun run
The half marathon begins approximately six kilometres north of the lake in Arco.
At first, the route runs northwards to Ceniga, which is about ten kilometres north of Lake Garda. From there, participants run southwards along the Sarca river to Torbole, which is situated at the lake's north-eastern end, and then along the lakeshore to Riva del Garda.
The 10k race starts in Arco, the 4k in Torbole.
The event also offers kids races (400m-800m-1.2km). These take place on Saturday in Arco.
