The Környe Futás (Környe Run) takes runners around the horgásztó (fish pond) of Környe, a village of about 4,000 people, located in a former coal-mining area near the city of Tatabánya in Hungary.

The route is a flat and scenic three-kilometre loop around the lake. Entrants can choose to run either one lap (3km), two laps (6km) or three laps (9km) of this course.

Younger children aged ten or under run either 400m or 1.5km.

The event also offers a 1.5km race for families (two adults and two kids under 14).
