The Cserszegtomajfutás (Cserszegtomaj Run) is a multi-terrain running event held annually since 2016 in the village of Cserszegtomaj in Hungary.
Cserszegtomaj spreads over the lower slopes of the hills north of the town of Keszthely which is situated at the western end of Balaton, the largest lake in Central Europe.
The event features races for all ages and levels of runners:
- 190m - 430m - 670m kids' races
- 2.5km fun run
- 7.8km
- 15.6km
- 23.4km
- 23.4km relay for teams of up to three runners
The 7.8k race is one lap, the 15.6k is two laps and the 23.4k is three laps of a very challenging loop course through the village.
Starting and finishing at the focipálya (football pitch) at Európa tér (Europe Square), each lap includes 100 metres of ascent.
Approximately 70 percent of the course is run on asphalt roads and 30 percent on gravel roads or trails.
