The Volkslauf Bad Segeberg is a multi-terrain running event held yearly in the town of Bad Segeberg in the state of Schleswig-Holstein in the far north of Germany.

The event offers four races for runners of all ages ...

  • 750m (children 9 years and under)
  • 1.8km (children 10-13 years old)
  • 3km
  • 8.5km

... and two for walkers and nordic walkers ...

  • 8.5km

The 8.5km route follows undulating roads and trails around the beautiful 2.6km-long Großer Segeberger See, around the Kalkberg (a 91m-high rock which provides the backdrop for the annual Karl May Festival) and through the town centre.
