The Volkslauf Bad Segeberg is a multi-terrain running event held yearly in Bad Segeberg, a town of about 18,000 people, located in Schleswig-Holstein in the far north of Germany.

Starting and ending in the town centre, the 8.5k race is an undulating loop on roads and trails around the Großer Segeberger See (pictured), passing the Kalkberg, a 91m-high rock which provides the backdrop for the annual Karl May Festival.
