Held in Frankfurt am Main, Germany's fifth-largest city with a population of about 750,000 people, RUN Frankfurt (formerly known as Stadtlauf Frankfurt) features races for all ages:

• 600m (for children 7 years and under)
• 1.4km (for children 12 years and under)
• 5km
• 10km

The 5k is one lap and the 10k is two laps of a flat course through the city centre, visiting the Zeil (Frankfurt's main shopping street) and the skyscrapers of the Bankenviertel, one of the world's leading financial centres, appropriately nicknamed "Mainhattan".

Instead of a bib number, participants get a T-shirt which they must wear during the race.
