The Budějovický T1 maraton is an indoor running event held annually in January in the old beer-brewing city of České Budějovice (German: Budweis) in the Czech Republic.
Several races are on offer, starting one after the other:
- 400m dětský charitativní závod (kids charity race)
- závod na 5km (5k race)
- 21.1km půlmaraton (half marathon)
- 42.2km maraton (marathon)
The course is a completely-flat 400-metre-long horseshoe-shaped loop through the Pavilon T1 (T1 Hall) of the Výstaviště České Budějovice (České Budějovice Exhibition Centre).
Participants in the full marathon run 105.5 laps of this course.
The temperature in the exhibition hall is a pleasant 13 to 15 degrees Celsius during the event.
The time limit to complete the course is 45 minutes for the 5k race, two hours 45 minutes for the half marathon and five hours for the marathon.
