This Night Run is held annually in Olomouc, a very beautiful old city of about 100,000 people, located in Moravia in the eastern part of the Czech Republic.
The event offers two race options, a 5k (one lap) and a 10k (two laps), starting at the Výstaviště Flora Olomouc (Flora Olomouc Exhibition Grounds) near the historic town centre.
The route winds its way through two public parks, Smetanovy sady (Smetana Park) and Čechovy sady (Čech Park), both founded almost 200 years ago.
Participants must wear a headlamp during the race.
