This Night Run is held annually in Olomouc, a very beautiful old city of about 100,000 people, located in Moravia in the eastern part of the Czech Republic.
The event offers races for all ages and abilities:
- 550m-1.1km-1.65km Kids Cup (races for children 14 years and under)
- 1km Sprint
- 2km Fénix Run (non-competitive charity run)
- 5km Avon Běh
- 10km NN Night Run
- 2x5km Štafeta (relay for teams of two runners)
The 5km-long route winds its way through two public parks, Smetanovy sady (Smetana Park) and Čechovy sady (Čech Park), both founded almost 200 years ago.
Participants must wear a čelovka (headlamp) during the race.
