This Stadtlauf (Town Run) takes place in the small town of Frohnleiten which sits in the narrow Mur Valley in Austria's state of Steiermark (Styria), approximately 30 kilometres north of the city of Graz.

Six race distances are available:

  • 300m - 1.2km - 2.4km for children
  • 4.9km
  • 9.8km
  • 7.3km nordic walking

Starting on Hauptplatz, Frohnleiten's colourful main square, the 4.9k race is two laps and the 9.8k is four laps of an undulating loop course through the town centre,
