The Bavarian Run offers a 5k, a 10k and a 15k race through the Olympiapark which was created for the Olympic Games 1972 in München (Munich), capital of Germany's state of Bayern (Bavaria).

Last year, the three races combined had 745 finishers. Each race drew well over 200 participants.

The route is an undulating 5k loop that passes a large number of sports venues, including the Olympic Stadium and the former Olympic Village.

Approximately 4.5km of each lap are run on asphalt. About 500m are on gravel.
