Held in the old city of Verona in northern Italy, the Straverona is a hugely popular non-competitive fun run that attracts a crowd of up to 20,000 runners and walkers every year.

All routes (6km, 10km, 20km) begin and end at the Arena, Verona's gigantic Roman amphitheatre, situated on Piazza Bra in the beautiful Old Town.

The 6km route is a flat loop through the city centre. The 10km and 20km routes take the runners also up the hills in the northern part of the city (pictured below).

The entry fees are the same for all routes. You can still decide on the course which route you want to take.

Your finishing time will only be recorded if you register for the CronoRun which is available for the 10km and 20km routes. The entry fees are a bit higher but still very low (€15 for advance entries), considering a technical T-shirt is included in the registration fees (plus free entry to many museums and monuments). The Cronorun is limited to 2,000 entries.
