15th Ormož Half Marathon 2016

Held in a lovely wine-producing area in the Štajerska region in the eastern part of Slovenia, the Ormoški mali maraton offers children's races, a 5k, a 10k and a half marathon.

All races begin and end on the athletics track of Ormož, a small town of about 2,200 inhabitants, situated on the border with Croatia.

The children's races are held on the athletics track.

The 5k, the 10k and the half marathon, however, take the runners out and back on a gently-undulating country road along the Lešnica valley which runs from Ormož northwards through the picturesque Slovenske gorice hills.

About 250 runners took part in the event last year.
