28th Trnava New Year's Race 2015

The Slovak running season 2015 begins with the Trnavský novoročný beh which is held annually on New Year's Day in the town of Trnava in western Slovakia.
The event offers a children's race and an 8km race for men and women.
Starting at 2pm at the athletics track on the northern edge of Trnava's very pretty Old Town, participants in the 8km race run five laps of a flat and traffic-free course through a vast sports complex. The race is run on mixed terrain (asphalt and trails).
