Participants in the 50km-Ultramarathon run ten laps of a mostly-flat 5km course through wood- and farmland on the edge of the town of Rodgau, which is situated about 25km from the city of Frankfurt in Germany.

Approximately 3km of each lap are run on unpaved roads, and 2km on asphalt.

In 2014, Florian Neuschwander (2:58:42) and Astrid Staubach (3:41:57) led an international crowd of 586 runners (out of a total of 835 starters) across the finish line. The time limit to complete the ultra marathon race is six hours.
