Held on a beautiful long-distance cycleway through Zala County in western Hungary, the Szaggasd az aszfaltot! is a wonderful running event for runners of all ages and abilities. Last year, the event had approximately 300 participants.

The flat out-and-back course takes runners through lovely autumn countryside and pretty villages, and it offers the possibility to run a fast half marathon or 10k time. Fun runners and families may prefer to take part in the 3k run. Children run 500m.

The start and the finish are in the village of Bagod, which is about 9km from the city of Zalaegerszeg. The route runs westwards towards the village of Zalalövő.
