Jedermann (everyone) is invited to take part in the Jedermannlauf 2014, to be held on October 5th in the city of Salzburg in Austria.

The event offers a 7k (one lap), a 14k (two laps), and a half marathon (three laps). Participants can still decide on the course if they want to finish the race after one, after two, or after three laps. The time limit to complete the course is 2hr 30min.

The route is an IAAF/AIMS-certified loop course which runs through the Old Town, around the Hohensalzburg fortress (pictured), and around Schloss Leopoldskron, a Rococo palace with a lovely park and lake.

Around 550 runners took part in last year's Jedermannlauf. This year, the event will incorporate the Austrian Half Marathon Championships.
