25th ‘Old Town Advent Run Mödling’ 2014
Mödling (Austria), Sunday 30 November 2014
The Altstadt Adventlauf offers a 5k, a 10k, and children's races through the very pretty Altstadt (Old Town) of Mödling, which is situated at the foot of the Wienerwald hills, just about 16km from the city centre of Austria's capital Vienna.
Participants in the 5k race run two laps whereas the 10k is three laps.
The time limit to complete the course is 60min for the 5k and 90min for the 10k.
Around 900 runners took part in last year's Altstadt Adventlauf.
After the race, many runners use the occasion to warm up with a cup of mulled wine on the Adventmarkt (Christmas market) in the festively decorated Old Town.
