Treviso (Italy), Sunday 2 March 2014
In 2014, the Treviso Marathon will be run on a new point-to-point course that begins in the town of Conegliano and ends in the historic centre of Treviso, a city of 82,000 people, situated in the Veneto region in northern Italy, just about 30km from Venice.
The start and finish areas are approximately 25km apart.
The route is mostly flat and fast through agricultural land and villages on the fertile Venetian Plain. The final 2.2km are run through Treviso's Old Town with its picturesque canals, waterwheels, churches, piazzi and palazzi.
The time limit to complete the course is six hours.
