Dresden (Germany), Sunday 15 June 2014
This popular Stadtlauf offers a half marathon, a 10k, a 5k, and children's races through Dresden, a city of more than half a million people, situated on the River Elbe in eastern Germany.
Starting and finishing on the Altmarkt square in the city centre, competitors run on roads and cycleways through Dresden's historic centre and along both banks of the Elbe, passing many magnificent buildings en route.
The half marathon is two laps. The route is gently undulating.
Instead of a bib number, all participants get a technical T-shirt which they must wear during the race.
