The Volkslauf Bad Segeberg offers two races (3.5km, 10.5km) for runners, walkers and nordic walkers, and two shorter races for children.

Held in the town of Bad Segeberg in Germany's northernmost state of Schleswig-Holstein, the event attracts approximately 500 or more participants.

The 10.5km race takes the participants on undulating roads and trails around the Großer Segeberger See (a beautiful 2.6km-long lake; pictured), around the Kalkberg (a 91m-high rock which provides the backdrop for the annual Karl May Festival), and finally through the pretty town centre.
