The Halbmarathon Hall-Wattens offers two scenic routes (4.4km and 21.9km) through the Inn River Valley in Tyrol, Austria.

Held in the 'Tourismusregion Hall-Wattens' near the city of Innsbruck, the event attracts over 600 runners, many of them from Italy and Germany and far beyond.

All races begin and end on the main square of Hall in Tirol, a historic salt-mining town with a large number of late-medieval buildings, surrounded by spectacular mountain scenery.

The 21.9km race (which is slightly longer than the half marathon distance) consists of two undulating loops (4.4km + 17.5km).

Participants run through Hall's very pretty Old Town (partly on cobbles), through the castle of 'Burg Hasegg', along the River Inn, through villages and rural areas, and through the town of Wattens which is known worldwide for its 'Swarovski Crystal Worlds' visitor centre.

Most of the route is on asphalt roads and cycleways. Approximately 2.5km are on gravel roads.
