8th ‘Cross Races in the Bilje Hills’ 2013

The Krosi Biljenski griči is the first in a series of four cross-country running events in Slovenia's Mediterranean Primorska region.

Held in the lovely vineyards of the Bilje Hills on the Slovenia-Italy border, the event gives runners of all ages the opportunity to test their shape and build up stamina for the coming running season.

The race distance you run depends on your age category:

  • 300m-2km: children
  • 4km: juniors (1998-1995)
  • 6km: men (1968 and older); women (1994 and older)
  • 8km: men (1994-1969)

All routes are very hilly on grass and trails.

Start and finish: near the Primary School Vrtojba

Entries: on the day (from 10.00) in the Primary School Vrtojba (Osnovna Šola Vrtojba)

Entry fees: € 5 (€ 2 for children and juniors)

You get: tea, fruit, biscuits, sweets

Prizes: medals and product prizes to the first 3 in each category
