17th Half Marathon of the Three Municipalities

A race through the apple orchards in the Adige River Valley.
This flat and fast half marathon takes place in the Adige River Valley to the south of Bolzano, capital of Italy's alpine province of South Tyrol (Italian: Alto Adige).
South Tyrol is a mainly German-speaking province but in this area you will hear more people speaking Italian.
Start is in the small town of Laives. The route runs through the vast apple orchards that cover the valley floor. Runners cross the River Adige and the Autostrada del Brennero twice. The finish line is in the village of Bronzolo, approximately four kilometres from the start.
In 2009, the winners were Said Boudalia (1:08:10) and Carla Verones (1:20:49).

* The entry fees include 5 EUR deposit for the timing chip and 1 EUR for charity.
Race centre: at the start in Laives (until 9.00)
You get: timing chip rental; 12 bottles of Powerade; bus service before and after the race
Prizes: prize money to the first 3 M/F, to the first M/F at the 8.6km mark, to the best 3 teams (5 runners), to the largest team and to the first 5 handcyclists
Showers and changing facilities: changing rooms at the start (football stadium) and showers at the finish in Bronzolo (sports hall)
