A race through the apple orchards in the Adige River Valley.

This flat and fast half marathon takes place in the Adige River Valley to the south of Bolzano, capital of Italy's alpine province of South Tyrol (Italian: Alto Adige).

South Tyrol is a mainly German-speaking province but in this area you will hear more people speaking Italian.

Start is in the small town of Laives. The route runs through the vast apple orchards that cover the valley floor. Runners cross the River Adige and the Autostrada del Brennero twice. The finish line is in the village of Bronzolo, approximately four kilometres from the start.

In 2009, the winners were Said Boudalia (1:08:10) and Carla Verones (1:20:49).
