12th ‘Hainfeld Town Run’ 2010

The small town of Hainfeld, situated in the rolling hills of Niederösterreich (Lower Austria), 60 kilometres from Vienna, is home to a relatively small road running event that has seen many elite athletes flying around the fast, traffic-free course.

The 8.4km Hauptlauf (main race) consists of seven laps plus an additional 135 metres.

Participants in the Hobbylauf run 3.7km (three laps and 135 metres).

In 2009, the winners were the Commonwealth Mountain Runnning Champion 2009 Wilson Chemweno of Kenya (25:02) and Hungary's Monika Nagy (30:38).
