International Parndorf Road Race
The small town of Parndorf in the far east of Austria, just 10km from Lake Neusiedl and close to the Hungarian and Slovakian borders, is mainly known for its huge Designer Outlet Center with about 150 shops. But there's more to do in Parndorf than shopping.
You could, for example, try to run a 10k PB on the very fast and flat 3-lap course around town. The course is certified by AIMS, the entry fees are low (considering the race is in Austria), and there will be some festivities in Parndorf as well.
The event has seen many international guests (and winners) from neighbouring countries. The course records are held by Dana Janeckova of Slovakia (36:20) and Norbert Kömüves of Hungary (31:19).
