The Štanjelski tek ("Štanjel Run") is a multi-terrain running event held annually on the first Saturday in December in the Karst region in Slovenia, approximately fifteen kilometres from the border with Italy.

Starting and ending at the lovska koča (hunting lodge) near Štanjel, a fortified hilltop village with a castle, terraced gardens and many picturesque stone houses, the race is a very scenic yet challenging 10km loop.

The route runs, mainly on gravel roads, through forests and through the little village of Lukovec. From start to finish, the course features 186 metres of ascent.
