The Tek k sv. Primožu is a mountain running event held annually in the spring in the Kamnik-Savinja Alps in Slovenia.

In 2026, the event features five races:

  • 500m (+70m of ascent)
    • children born 2015-2020
  • 1.1km (+175m of ascent)
    • children born 2013-2014
  • 3.5km (+379m of ascent)
    • children born 2011-2012
    • women born 1986 or earlier
    • men born 1976 or earlier
  • 3.8km (+425m of ascent, -20m of descent)
    • juniors born 2007-2010
  • 8.9km (+1,280m of ascent, -80m of descent)
    • women born 1987-2006
    • men born 1977-2006

Until 2025, the 3.5km race was the longest race distance and the main race of the day.

Starting at the foot of the mountain range, near the village of Stahovica (approximately 30 kilometres north of Ljubljana), the route runs on gravel roads uphill to the finish line at the church of Sveti Primož (pictured below) which sits at an elevation of about 840 metres on the southern slopes of the beautiful Velika planina plateau.

 

 

The 3.8km and 8.9km races are new race distances. Both finish at an elevation of 1,660 metres on Gradišče, Velika planina's highest peak.
