You'd love to set a fabulous PB over the marathon or half marathon distance?

Then off to Koszalin, a city of about 100,000 people, situated thirteen kilometres from the Baltic Sea coast in the north-western part of Poland!

The Nocna Ściema (Night Sham) offers a unique oppportunity to run an outstanding time—if you don't mind running through the night.

The race starts at 2am on the last Sunday of October, one hour before summer time (daylight saving time) ends.

At 3am, one hour into the race, clocks are set back by one hour.

So, starting at 2am, a sub-3-hour runner could finish the marathon before 4am, in a world-record time of under two hours.

Fast half marathon runners can finish the race in a couple of minutes.

The route begins and ends on the athletics track of the Stadion ZOS "Bałtyk".

The half marathon is three laps and the marathon is six laps through the south-eastern part of Koszalin. The course is a bit undulating.
