Lake Garda 42 is a road running event held at Italy's largest lake, the 51km-long Lago di Garda.
The event offers three super-scenic races:
- Kids Run (on Saturday)
- Half Marathon
- Marathon
The Kids Run takes place in Riva del Garda at the lake's northern end.
The Half Marathon route begins in Arco, which is about five kilometres north of the lake, and ends in Malcesine (pictured), an ancient town situated on the eastern shore.
Participants in the Marathon run from Limone sul Garda, which sits on the western shore, northwards to Arco and from there, like the half marathon runners, to Malcesine.
