The Marcia dei Vini is a non-competitive running and hiking event held annually in the Province of Udine in the north-eastern part of Italy.
It forms part of the Fiera dei Vini, a five-day wine-and-food festival that has been held since 1970 in the village of Corno di Rosazzo.
Two routes are on offer, 6km and 12km long.
Participants can start at any time between 8am and 10am, and they can still decide on the course which distance they want to run (or walk).
Starting on Piazza Divisione Julia, the main square, both routes are very hilly and scenic loops on mixed terrain (asphalt, gravel and trails), mostly through vineyards, woods and rural areas.
The entry fees (€3.50 for members of the FIASP federation and €4 for everybody else) include snacks and drinks on the course. After the run there will be ample opportunity to sample fine local wines at the Fiera dei Vini.
