The Dogi's Half Marathon, formerly known as ‘Maratonina Riviera dei Dogi’, is a half marathon road running race held annually in April in the Metropolitan City of Venice in Italy.
The route is flat and fast and scenic as it takes the runners along both banks of the Brenta Canal which connects the cities of Padua (Padova) and Venice (Venezia). The canal is home to approximately one hundred villas that were built by the Venetian aristocracy between the sixteenth and eighteenth century.
The start/finish area changes from year to year between these four municipalities:
- Stra
- Fiesso d'Artico
- Dolo
- Mira
Since 2022, the event also offers a 10k race.
