Held annually since 1973, the Camignada poi Siè Refuge takes mountain runners and hikers through the breathtaking scenery of the Dolomiti di Sesto (Sexten Dolomites) in the far north of Italy.

The route is 33 kilometres long. It includes approximately 1,600 metres of ascent. The highest point on the course is at an elevation of over 2,500 metres.

Starting at Lago di Misurina (1,752m), which is about twelve kilometres from the ski resort of Cortina d'Ampezzo, the route passes the famous Tre Cime di Lavaredo (pictured above), sei rifugi (six mountain huts), and five checkpoints and refreshment stations. The finish line is in the village of Auronzo di Cadore (864m).

The time limit to complete the course is ten hours.

Entries are limited to 700 participants.

Entrants have to provide a medical certificate for athletics at registration.

Pre-race bus transportation from Auronzo to the start area is available.
