Hungary's biggest women's run, the Női Futógála (‘Women's Running Gala’) in Budapest, attracts a crowd of thousands of women runners every year.
The race distances are:
- 10km
- 10km in pairs (4.7km+5.3km relay)
- 5km
- 2.5km run
- 2.5km walk
- 3 x 2km relay
- 1km equal opportunity race
- 1km family run
As the races are held one after the other, it is possible to register for more than one race. There are three options:
- 10km + 5km + 2.5km
- 10km + 5km
- 5km + 2.5km
Over the years, the route and the venue have changed several times.
In 2026, the starting line will be on Hősök tere (Heroes' Square; pictured above).
The course will be a very scenic and flat run along Andrássy út, Budapest's grandest boulevard, and through Városliget (City Park), passing many outstanding buildings.
