The Lausitzer Seenland 100 offers a summer weekend of sports for runners, walkers, nordic walkers, hikers, inline skaters and cyclists.
The event is held in the Lausitzer Seenland (Lusatian Lake District), a former East German coal mining area which is being transformed into Europe's largest artificial lakeland region.
Six flat road races are available for runners of all ages and abilities:
- 400m (not in 2020)
- 2km (not in 2020)
- 42.2km (not in 2020)
Starting and ending at the Hafen (harbour) of the small town of Großräschen, the shorter races (up to 10km long) are all out-and-back runs.
Participants in the Halbmarathon (half marathon) run around the Großräschener See. The Marathon is two laps of this course.
