Held yearly in February in the Baltic Sea port of Kiel in Germany's northernmost state of Schleswig-Holstein, this winter running event attracts a crowd of more than 1,500 hardy road runners, mostly from Germany, Denmark and Sweden.
These races are available:
- 10km run and walk (one lap)
- 21.1km half marathon (two laps)
- 42.2km marathon (four laps)
Starting and finishing at the Cruise Terminal Ostseekai in the city centre, the race features a certified and very flat out-and-back course along the Kieler Förde (Kiel Fjord).
