RUN Leipzig (formerly known as Stadtlauf Leipzig) is a road running event held annually in September in Leipzig, one of Germany's fastest-growing cities, located in the state of Sachsen (Saxony) in the eastern part of Germany.
The 5k race is one lap and the 10k is two laps through the city centre, starting on Markt, the historic main square in the heart of the Old Town (pictured).
Instead of a bib, entrants get a technical T-shirt which they must wear during the race.
