The event offers races for the whole family:

  • 500m børneløb (kids' run)
  • 1.5km børneløb (kids' run)
  • 1.6km familie mile (1-mile family run)
  • 5km løb og walk (5k run and walk)
  • 10km løb og walk (10k run and walk)

Marathoners run two laps of the half marathon course which is varied, scenic and hilly (about 250 metres of ascent over the 21.1 kilometres).

Starting on Storetorv square, the route is on mixed terrain and takes the runners along the cobbled streets of the picturesque old town, through the harbour and through woods and pretty countryside.

The time limit to finish the marathon race is six hours.
