The Night Run Praha is the sixth of eight events of the popular Night Run race series in the Czech Republic.

Staged on Letná, a hill that overlooks the Vltava river and Prague's Old Town, the event usually draws well over 1,000 participants.

Several races are on offer:

  • children's races
  • 1km sprint race
  • 2km non-competitive family run
  • 5km
  • 10km
  • 2x5km relay

The start/finish area is at the top end of Letenské sady (Letná Park) which occcupies the southern part of the hill and commands superb views over the city centre.

The 5k race is one lap and the 10k is two laps through the park and along the steep wooded slopes of the hill. The course is partly flat and partly a bit hilly.

Competitors must wear a čelovka (headlamp) during the race.
