Held annually in September in the Středočeský kraj (Central Bohemian Region) in Czechia, the Mělnický vinařský běh ("Mělník Wine Run") offers a 10k multi-terrain race as well as three races for children (300m, 600m, 900m).

The start/finish area is at the Bettina Lobkowicz vinařství, a winery in the town of Mělník, which is approximately 35 kilometres north of the city centre of Prague.

Mělník is home to a small and very pretty Old Town with a Renaissance castle, built on a hill high above the confluence of the Labe (Elbe) and Vltava rivers.

The 10k race is a single loop across the plain which stretches to the south of Mělník (pictured above).

The route crosses the Labe, it takes the runners through woods and farmland, and it runs along two waterways, the Vltava and the Laterální plavební kanál Mělník – Vraňany:
