The Běh kolem Světa (Run around the World) takes place in the Třeboňsko landscape park, a protected area of vast fish ponds in the Jihočeský kraj (South Bohemian Region) in the Czech Republic.
Participants run one lap on mixed terrain around Svět (World), the 14th-largest fish pond in Czechia.
The route is 11,729 metres long and flat.
Starting at the entrance to the lázeňský park (spa park) in Třeboň, a small town with an impressive Renaissance castle complex and a very beautiful historic centre, the race follows the naučná stezka (educational trail) around the lake.
