The Králický maraton is part of the Trail Running Cup, an annual race series in the Czech Republic.

Set in the Sudetes mountain range on the Czechia-Poland border, the event offers two very scenic and challenging races:

  • 13km (+320m of ascent)
  • 42km (+1,560m of ascent)

The starting and finishing point for both courses is at an elevation of about 750 metres in the ski resort of Dolní Morava.

The highest point on the marathon course is on the summit of Králický Sněžník (1,423m), the third-highest mountain in the Czech Republic, located right on the border with Poland (pictured above).
