Starting outside and finishing inside the Pula Arena, one of the largest and best-preserved Roman amphitheatres, the Pula Marathon in Croatia offers three road races:
- 5k
- 10k
- 21k half marathon (Croatian: polumaraton)
The half marathon kicks off at 8pm.
After a 1k starting lap, participants run two 10k laps through central and northern parts of Pula, an Adriatic port of about 50,000 people, located at the southern tip of the Istrian peninsula.
The course is flat along the coast and a bit undulating away from the coast.
