Starting outside and finishing inside the Pula Arena, one of the largest and best-preserved Roman amphitheatres, the Pula Marathon in Croatia offers three road races:
- 6km run and nordic walking
- 10km
- 21km half marathon
The half marathon (Croatian: polumaraton) kicks off at 7:50pm.
Participants run two laps through central and northern parts of Pula, an Adriatic port of about 50,000 people, located at the southern tip of the Istrian peninsula.
The course is flat along the coast and a bit undulating away from the coast.
