The Koprivnički polumaraton features a flat and fast half marathon course that begins and ends on the colourful main square of Koprivnica, a town of about 28,000 inhabitants, located in a low-lying agricultural area in the far north of Croatia, near the border with Hungary.
The route begins with a loop through Koprivnica before it takes the runners out and back to the village of Koprivnički Bregi, which is well known among connoisseurs of hearty peasant food for its zelje (cabbage).
In addition to the half marathon, the event offers a 5k race.
