The Lošinjski polumaraton (Lošinj Half Marathon) is a running event held on the Adriatic Sea island of Lošinj in Croatia.
Starting in the very pretty little resort of Veli Lošinj (pictured), the half marathon takes the runners along the coast and through the hilly and densely-wooded interior of the island, as well as through the much bigger resort of Mali Lošinj.
The route follows a very scenic yet challenging course which features many testing ascents and descents. The difference between the lowest and the highest point on the course is 65 metres. From start to finish, the route includes 371 metres of ascent and 371 metres of descent.
The race is run on a mix of surfaces (asphalt roads, concrete paths, gravel).
In addition to the half marathon, the event offers a 10k and a 5k race.
